We are an In-House access control systems repair company

Security & Data Solutions is a spin off of our sister company Self Storage Security Solutions, LLC. We have been servicing the South Florida storage community for over 25 years. Recently we have expanded our service area to include the entire State of Florida. We have been installing, repairing and servicing a variety of access control systems as well as most components used by the self storage community. We launched Security & Data Solutions to offer the repair service for PTI Keypads nationwide, including outside of our service area. We are working on expanding our repairs to include all other access control systems.

In-House repair services

We repair PTI Security Systems equipment, for now only PTI VP and Apex keypad boards including a two year warranty. In the future we have plans to fix other equipment. See FAQ for more details

Refurbished equipment

We offer advance replacements for damaged keypad boards. See FAQ for more details

Yearly service agreement

Service agreements will cover the repair and/ or replacement of damaged PTI devices except for physical damage or "ACTS OF GOD" at no charge. See FAQ for more details

How much will it cost?

Repair times and repair costs vary. Damaged devices will be tested upon receipt. A comprehensive assessment of the damages will be cataloged and a decision is made as to whether the device can be repaired or not. A detailed description of damages and cost to repair will be emailed to the client in a written proposal. Shipping costs are not included and are added to the final costs of the repairs.

How long it takes to repair?

Repairs start after a written approval from the client. Repairs will take no less than (5) Working days due to a 72-Hours bench testing of the repaired device. Once the repair device passes all in-house testing, it will be shipped back to the client.

What about advance replacements?

Advance replacements are available as follows:

-FALCON XT CONTROLLER advance replacement is $1,550. A $100 Core credit will be applied to the client’s invoice if the damaged core is received within 30-Days of purchase of an advance replacement device.

-APEX KEYPAD advance replacement is $775. A $100 Core credit will be applied to the client’s invoice if the damaged core is received within 30-Days of purchase of an advance replacement device.

-VP KEYPAD advance replacement is $600. A $100 Core credit will be applied to the client’s invoice if the damaged core is received within 30-Days of purchase of an advance replacement device.

When do I pay?

For new clients credit cards are accepted for payments. Complete payment will be required before shipping the refurbished devices back.
